Poetry - Live and Love

Time in Life
There are times in life, like,
Sitting by an old oak tree.
I feel the love
She holds for me.
There are times in life
Lying in bed at night
Waiting on those bright head lights, and,
Her voice.
There are times in life,
Breathing in sacred silence,
Dreaming lazy contemplations,
When she sashays through my soul.
When comes the time,
Where all the days are right,
All the nights ease in,
And we revel in each other?
Why do we choose
Our work, all that’s pressing,
Over what we value most
- each other?
There are times in life
When I need to love my wife.
That time is ever-present
Like now.

Oh this is really beautiful! Nothing may be allowed to create distance between a husband and a wife.
Have been reading your other poems too... and really love your way with words. It's so refreshing to come across people here who write because they're meant to and have a genuine talent for writing. I hope you will never stop voicing your thoughts and inspiring your readers with them. Take care :)
